Http://Seattletimes.com/html/businesstechnology/2020671693_boeingtestflightxml.htmlThe 787 test flight planned for today was postponed. The reason is not known at this time.
Boeing declines as a matter of policy to discuss the timing of flight tests before they happen.
Boeing today conducted a flight test on LN86, the aircraft being used for 787 tests, which the company says were unrelated to a fix for the aircraft’s lithium-ion batteries.
While the 787 has had many milestones, the one today is something we’ve all been waiting for. With Captain Heather Ross at the controls, 787 Line Number 86 for LOT Polish Airlines completed the final certification test for our new battery system with a 1 hour and 49 minute flight out of Paine Field.

The FAA will examine the ground and flight-test data. Boeing wouldn’t have submitted the data unless the results had met the requirements set in advance by the FAA, so approval to allow the 787 to fly passengers again is all but certain.
The agency is not expected to wait for National Transportation Safety Board hearings later in the month -----

In response to a question from Sen. Maria Cantwell, D-Wash., he said the FAA is also reviewing “our original ETOPS certification” for the jet.
