Så hva er bakdelene med denne løsningen? Eller er det bare fordeler?
Som sagt på andre steder : det kreves for at dette lar seg gjøre at Airbus selv begynner å tenke kreativt. Men vi butter på et vanskelig paradoks som må overkommes :
Official reasons for Airframers holding back on H2XQR Series are expertly rationalised by aviation Reviewers/Analysts based on undercover influence from Airframer-sponsored PR wizzards (eg: "extra seat tracks", "costly structural weight increment", "disrupted production lines" ...). Clever ! : who actually has the required insight, the relevant industrial/engineering expertise, the objective, sound aviation experience to deter the deceptive bullshit in what is put forward as "pertinent objections" by the "Know-it-Alls" ?
The factual reasons for the anti-H2XQR Series ostrich-syndrome are unspeakable :
1. who is willing to confess that over the last 60 years the airframers have been building aircraft optimising the design erroneously based on merely cabin floor area maximum passenger density [→ (3+3)], when the obvious CORRECT design optimisation parameter is maximum volumetric payload density of the total fuselage cylinder [→ (1+3+1)] ?
2. who is willing to confess that Airframers in this second decade of XXIst Century still factually motivate their industrial Product Strategy based upon CLASS DISCRIMINATION : "let's make aircraft for "the Masses" oppressively promiscuous, so that our design solutions exclusively for "the Elite" by contrast are perceived pleasantly comfortable" ! Airframer strategists are nostalgics, dreaming to recreate "La Belle Epoque", lamenting the Hindenburg chute, who came clear of the cultural/ethical/social revolutions freeing the mentality of the masses in XXth Century : such they deplore and prefer to ignore. The "Nec Plus Ultra" in Sporty Game achievement to these nostalgics is selling an A380 Executive to please H.M. the Sultan of Brunei : H2XQR is pure waste, keep A32X Series, that'll amply do !
3. with the exception of a limited number of Visionary Business Gurus (such as eg Jan Carlzon, Sir Richard Branson, Herb Kelleher, Sir Stelios ...) who all have tried stepping forward to INFLUENCE aircraft design, Operator strategists are under a mental hypnose that aircraft design is for Aeronautical Engineers. Take offuscated Jean Pierson, P&CEO of Airbus Industrie in 1985, commenting Jan Carlzon's quest for his idealistic P3 : "Ha ! this Swede maybe thinks he's going to teach us how to design aircraft !" [ndlr : pathetic but true !]
As an advice to airline sales/marketing experts : bluntly, crudely, if/whenever you yourself come under a tentative from those guys (the Maddock stereotypes) to influence you, make sure you've decided beforehand to which camp you belong : to the Y-classers, or to the Premium-classers or their alikes, the "nostalgics"? Then you may elect to let the wind blow this way or that other way !
Air Transport is a Y-class world and H2XQR Series is a Y-class product designed for SMR Feeder travellers, those actually who cash out the airfares whereby aircraft are financed.

På driftsplanet flyttes mye av presset over til bakke-folkene på flyplassene rundt i verden, som nu får ansvaret å skulle klare rotasjonene på 25' (planning time) dag inn/dag ut, fly etter fly etter fly... H2XQR Series er bygd for at det skulle la seg gjøre : så må bakke-lagene deretter stille opp til forventningen; her blir det sikkert litt armwrestling ? Videre foreblir Air Traffic Control et Random Quantum ... ? (men ingen forandring her, slik er det pr idag).
