Small Planet Airlines Germany (Berlin Schönefeld) says it has secured a deal with TUI Deutschland amid plans to operate flights from Bremen Neuenland and Paderborn/Lippstadt to Rhodes, Heraklion, Kos, Menorca, and Burgas during the summer 2016 season.
A total of fourteen flights per week, or more than 300 in total, are planned with the German tour operator.
The Small Planet Airlines (S5, Vilnius) subsidiary says it hopes to secure its German Air Operators Certificate (AOC) during the first half of next year following which it will be able to operate operate flights under German registration.
Small Planet Airlines Germany will commence operations later this quarter using a pair of A320-200s based out of the Canary Islands for flights from Hanover, Hamburg Fuhlsbüttel, Münster/Osnabrück, Dusseldorf, and Zurich to Fuerteventura and Las Palmas. Operations are in conjunction with air broker Involatus Carrier Consulting GmbH, but will initially use aircraft on the AOCs of Small Planet Airlines or Small Planet Airlines Polska (P7, Warsaw Chopin).
