Re: Baltia airlines

Her går det unna!

Re: Baltia airlines

Baltia Air Lines (BTL, New York JFK) is planning to rebrand itself ahead of a renewed push towards completing its FAR Part 121 certification and launching operations.

According to Mid-Hudson News, the start-up's newly appointed board of directors, on May 11, will vote to change Baltia's name to USGlobal Airways (BTL, New York JFK) while shifting its focus from the US-Russia market, to the US-Eastern Europe and Mediterranean niches.

Airline spokesman John Lampl said Baltia would also seek US Department of Transportation (DOT) approval to operate these service from Newburgh Stewart International Airport.

Re: Baltia Airlines

For a long time Baltia Air was known as the joke airline of the industry.

The company was registered for 27 years and owned one of the biggest jets in the world but it never flew a passenger, sold a seat or delivered any cargo. It was even forced to sell its only plane - a Boeing 747 - in 2016.

But now, Baltia Air is rebranding as USGlobal Airways and, according to its website, hopes to become America's "premier international and customer-centric carrier".

While Baltia Air was based at John F Kennedy Airport, USGlobal Airways has relocated to at Stewart International Airport, a northerly suburb of New York City.

Let’s just say upfront that startup airlines don’t usually become successful airlines. This is a fact of life in the airline industry, one that is known to Anthony Koulouris, CEO of startup US Global Airways.

Nevertheless, in March 2018, US Global intends to begin Paris and Tel Aviv flights from Stewart International Airport, about 60 miles north of Manhattan. It would lease Boeing 767s from longtime aviation entrepreneur Connie Kalitta.

Re: Baltic Airlines - Nytt navn; USGlobal Airways

Re: Baltic Airlines - Nytt navn; USGlobal Airways

😂😂😂😂😂

Takk for latteren folkens.

Petersburg. But no more ...

Everybody’s favorite New York City/Ypsilanti-based airline that has spent decades nowhere close to actually flying is now legally prevented from trying, at least on the one international route it was previously authorized for. The Department of Transportation revoked Baltia’s operating authority today to fly between New York City and St. Petersburg, Russia.

Hvordan skal man nå få investert sparepengene sine her?

http://www.recordonline.com/news/20...s-from-airline-that-hoped-to-fly-from-stewart

Baltia Air Lines, the aspirational carrier that made a splash at Stewart International Airport last year, lost its ability to sell stock Monday when the Securities and Exchange Commission revoked its registration.

The SEC’s action followed Baltia’s failure to respond to a May 7 order to bring its annual and quarterly financial reports current
