Kanada trenger bytte ut sine A310 tankfly og går for å fortsette med Airbus. Planen er tilsammen 6 fly, men i hvertfall de to første er brukte A330-200 som de vil få konvertert til tankfly

The initial $102 million contract with Dubai lessor International Airfinance covers the procurement and preparation of two used A330-200s, which will be the first two aircraft in the STTC fleet.

De vil sikkert også få et eget kanadisk navn som de liker gi flyene sine

The Government of Canada has awarded Airbus Defence and Space with a contract for four newly-built Airbus A330 Multi Role Tanker Transport aircraft (MRTT) and for the conversion of five used A330-200s in a quest to strengthen Canada’s continental defence capabilities. The current contract has an order value of approximately CAD $3 billion or €2.1 billion.
