Sonberg har nok hørt mine ord. Følgende er hentet fra SAS-gruppa på Facebook:
After Ryanair last week issued a press release offering SAS' management and Board to fly for free "to experience how a successful airline is operated", I have now booked a trip with the so called Low Cost Carrier next Monday, September... 21st. The purpose of the trip is to - once and for all - reveal that Ryanair by no means are as cheap as they claim when taxes and extra fees are added. As reported by the media (www.vg.no/reise/artikkel.php?artid=594465) Ryanair this week withdrew their offer. I will however make the trip anyway and this week booked a return ticket from Torp airport (120 km South of Oslo) to Stansted outside London (not many options with Ryanair, frankly!). The price (including one bag, priority seating and sms service, which are for free on SAS) was NOK 1.564,19. The same price on SAS was NOK 1.918,-. Not a big difference taking into the account the service and comfort onboard SAS and the fact that I will spend a lot more time getting to and from the airports at both ends (looks like I'll have to take a bus from Oslo centre at 0635 to make my 0945 flight from Torp). You can follow the trip here on Facebook, on Twitter or on the SAS' Intranet if you are a SAS emploee.
