Icelandair har spådd hvordan deres 2025 vil se ut, så får vi se hva fasiten blir om et år.

Hovedpunktene er et overskudd på $40-60 mill. Vekst i kapasiteten på 8%, primært gjennom bedre utnyttelse av flåten.

God vekst i januar, med 17% flere passasjerer. Og når kapasiteten kun var opp 8% så sprettet også belegget opp 7.7pp til 77.1%. Vekst både til, fra, innen og via Island, men er sistenevnte som trekker mest opp. Og ikke umulig det er økt "connectivity" som bidrar til å fylle flyene her.

251 000 passasjerer i februar 2025, en økning på 7 % sammenlignet med samme måned i fjor. Kabinfaktoren nådde rekordhøye 79,8 %.

Codeshareavtale på plass med Air India

Air India will place its ‘AI’ designator code on Icelandair-operated flights between Reykjavik (KEF) and major European cities including London Heathrow, London Gatwick, Frankfurt, Paris, Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Milan, and Zurich. This will allow Air India passengers easier access to Iceland via key European gateways.
Icelandair will add its ‘FI’ designator code to Air India-operated flights between Delhi and Amsterdam, Paris, Copenhagen, Frankfurt, London Heathrow, as well as between Mumbai and Frankfurt and London Heathrow. This will offer Icelandair passengers seamless connections to major cities in India.
