HTF har tackat nej till medlarnas bud i SAS-konflikten
HTFs förhandlingsdelegation har idag avböjt det bud som medlarna lagt fram i konflikten mellan HTF och SAS.
HTF kräver förbättringar i arbetsmiljön så att de kabinanställda ges förutsättningar för att utföra ett bra arbete. Vi kräver också att SAS genomför sina uppgifter med egen anställd personal och att heltidsanställning ska vara norm. Medlemmarna måste också bli rättvist behandlade vid uttagning till utbildning, befordran, schemaläggning med mera.
- Vi betraktar detta som ett rent arbetsgivarbud. Vi har inte fått gehör för de krav som vi framfört i förhandlingarna, säger Tommy Mases, HTFs förhandlingschef.

Scandinavian Airlines Sverige accepts mediators' final offer
The final bid presented by mediators on Sunday, May 20 has been accepted by the
Air Transport Industry Employers' Association/Scandinavian Airlines Sverige. The
offer was not accepted by the Swedish Salaried Employees' Union/Scandinavian
Cabin Crew Association.
"By rejecting the mediators' final offer, I can only assume that the Salaried
Employees' Union intends to strike on matters for which Scandinavian Airlines
Sverige's cabin crew already have equal or better conditions than our
competitors in Sweden," says Anders Ehrling, CEO of Scandinavian Airlines
Sverige.
"The situation is serious, although there is still time to find solutions and
avoid industrial action that will cause severe disruption for our customers. We
are open to solutions that involve changes to employment conditions and/or
salary levels. However, this requires that we keep within the framework of 10.2
percent that the Salaried Employees' Union itself defined for this year's
collective bargaining," continues Anders Ehrling.
"I can only apologize to Scandinavian Airlines Sverige's customers for the
uncertainty caused by the threat of strike action. There is still time for the
Salaried Employees' Union to take its responsibility and sign a collective
agreement that does not weaken SAS's terms for competing and is in line with the
other collective agreements signed by the Union this spring," concludes Anders
Ehrling.

Et siste forsøk på å unngå SAS-streiken i Sverige mislyktes natt til fredag. Det betyr at streiken starter fredag morgen.
Partene i konflikten møttes rundt midnatt, men klarte ikke å bli enige.
- Om det ikke skjer et mirakel er streiken et faktum, sier forhandlingsleder Tommy Mases i HTF, fagforeningen for de kabinansatte i SAS Sverige.
SAS tok torsdag kveld kontakt med HTF med en justering av sitt tilbud, men det ble forkastet av HTF.
Dermed går 800 svenske kabinansatte ut i streik fra klokka fem fredag morgen.
SAS Sverige innstilte allerede torsdag all innenrikstrafikk i Sverige og det meste av utenrikstrafikken. Sju avganger til og fra Norge er også innstilt.
De aller fleste nordmenn som skal ut og reise i pinsen, skal imidlertid kunne slippe unna problemene.
- De fleste av dem som skulle vært med de innstilte avgangene mellom Oslo og Stockholm, er booket om på norske fly. Passasjerer som skal på interkontinentale flyginger via Stockholm, går det også greit med, forsikrer kommunikasjonsdirektør Cathrine Foss Stene i SAS Norge til NTB.
En eventuell streik vil heller ikke forplante seg til Norge, fordi SAS Sverige og SAS Norge har hver sine fly og hver sine mannskaper, forklarer Foss Stene.

Som jeg også sa når NKF valgte streik i fjor , "ser de ikke at de undergraver sin egen arbeidsplass" ? , triste greier.
Det fraskriver dog ikke SAS et stort ansvar for å forsøke å skape arbeidsplasser, med et arbeidsmiljø som er til å leve av&med.

Traffic stoppage continues - Scandinavian Airlines Sverige forced to cancel
traffic to, from and within Sweden on Saturday, May 26, 2007
Negotiations have so far been non-productive. Accordingly, Scandinavian Airlines
Sverige has decided to also cancel traffic on Saturday. Continuously updated
information on the current traffic situation and the SAS flights to and from
Sweden that are not affected by the strike, and the rules for rebooking and
refunds are available at http://www.sas.se.
"Would it not be natural that SAS, as the Swedish Salaried Employees' Union's
single largest member company, be permitted to meet union management in the
negotiations on industrial action that is so important to so many of the union's
members? The future of Scandinavian Airlines Sverige and the SAS Group is on the
line, and accordingly, so is the future of perhaps 3,000 of the Salaried
Employees' Union members," says Anders Ehrling, President of Scandinavian
Airlines Sverige.
"We have presented good solutions to the demands that the Salaried Employees'
Union prioritized in its original list of 38 demands. This list includes the
issue of meal breaks.
"Negotiations have reached a stalemate in issues of power that the union has
chosen to pursue. The consequence of these demands will be that the union will
govern the company's operations, something that we of course cannot accept. What
other employer would agree to relinquishing the entire responsibility for
personnel planning, the recruitment of managers and the scheduling of working
hours?
"And if we have understood the demands of the Salaried Employees' Union
correctly, it would appear that the union's members will not want to work when
our customers wish to fly, for example on Boxing Day (December 26), early in the
morning and late in the evening. What other employer would accept being forced
to employ extra personnel to provide customers with the basic level of service
that they require?
"Naturally, we cannot accept demands that so clearly weaken Scandinavian
Airlines Sverige's competitiveness and that widely exceed the frameworks
applicable in the Swedish labor market and for our competitors," concludes
Anders Ehrling.

This is from the SAS press release. If Anders Ehrling is the father of this release is should be ashamed of himself. It really is a pathetic statement and has nothing to do with the demands of the cabin union. And AE knows it very well.
