Re: FlyBe konkurs

Aberdeen to Belfast City, Birmingham, Manchester and Jersey
Edinburgh to Cardiff, Exeter, Manchester, Newquay and Southampton.
Glasgow to Exeter and Southampton.
Inverness to Belfast City, Birmingham and Jersey.
Newcastle to Exeter and Southampton.
Forstår det også slik at Eastern både tar over sine egne ruter de fløy på franschise for FlyBe, og også starter flere nye ruter, blant annet i konkurranse med Loganair på et par av rutene?

168 weekly slots (12 daily flights) at London Heathrow have been returned from Flybe to British Airways. It is currently unclear what BA will use these slots for as yet
Stobart Air holding company falls into administration
Dublin-based Stobart Air operates Aer Lingus Regional service
Connect Airways, the holding company behind Dublin-based Stobart Air, which operates the Aer Lingus Regional service, has fallen into administration in the UK, the Irish Independent has learned.
The move is linked to the recent collapse of Flybe. UK-based Flybe was also part of Connect Airways.
The administration means that accountancy firm EY now controls Connect and 49pc of Stobart Air. The other 51pc of Stobart Air is owned by its more than 400 staff.
The administrators for the UK regional carrier Flybe are appealing to the government to retain the airline’s operating license. The company argued recently that the sale of the business would become unlikely if the license is revoked.

AerLingus yesterday (23JUL20) announced new routes launch from Belfast City, operated by Stobart ATR72-600 aircraft. These new routes were previously served by flyBe
The ‘new Flybe’ is edging closer to becoming a reality after its first aircraft was spotted to have been registered by Thyme Opco earlier this week. A Dash 8 has been transferred to a UK registration number, indicating the airline’s owners are serious about a restart. But there’s still a long way to go before Flybe 2 is ready to fly.
Just before Christmas, it was noted that the new owner of former regional carrier Flybe had applied for an Air Operators Certificate (AOC). Thyme Opco, a holding company created by Cyrus Capital last year, made an application to the UK’s CAA on behalf of Flybe, signaling that the rumors of a resurrection of the popular purple airline were becoming a reality.
Now, it seems that the new airline is a step further along the road to flying again, as a single Dash 8 has been registered in its name. According to the database held by Skyliner Aviation News, a Dash 8-400, previously registered as OE-LGA, was re-registered by Thyme Opco on January 20th as G-CLXC. The database further notes that the aircraft is currently parked at Zagreb Airport (ZAG) and is ‘for new Flybe.’
