BILDER TRENGES!

Busy Bee of Norway var det andre flyselskapet i Norden som tok i bruk jetfly. Først Learjet 23 og deretter tre HS-125 LN-NPA, NPC og NPE.

LN-NPA var i bruk i Busy Bee fra 1968 til 1972. Dertetter ble den solgt til Storbritannia som G-AVAI og den er tilbake i Storbritannia nå. Kun den fremre biten av skroget er igjen. Flyets eier har en Facebookside på flyet:

Det er sjeldent å se bilder av disse tre flotte biz-jetene som jeg var så heldig å se fra skoleveien omtrent hver dag mellom ´68 og ´71.
Så vidt jeg kan huske var -NPE og -NPA helt like, mens -NPC av en eller annen grunn manglet bien på halen.

I alla fall hade LN-NPE bien på halen 7 september 1968 när maskinen var på Bromma.

Well, time to update this thread with what i've managed to get done in between work, Horses, Land rover, Horses, and all the other wonderful things that get in the way of doing what I really want to do lol . . . .

As some of you may see from the pics, there are a few 'extras' that i've managed to get hold of, which for the time being is taking away from the originality of the plane. But i'm sure not too many people wouold notice that i've got hold of some 700 series bits, namely the control yokes, the throttle box and the instrument panel. But in time, I hope to replace these with original - well thats what i'm telling myself!!!

Also, you may recognise the Dominie influence as well

Anyway, please enjoy and as always, comments and bits are always welcome. Sadly, i'm not going to be able to take it to Cockpitfeast, but I will be there in body sometime . . .

OK, time for an update I think :) Been a full on few months and slowly been making progress internally and also looking out for spares. Managed to find co-pilot and pilot seats, got 2 new front screens, and a host of other goodies . . . As we've sold our hoouse and due to move out over the next few days, the 125 has now gone on temporary loan to Newark Aircraft Museum (http://www.newarkairmuseum.org/) well work a visit as they have some superb items there.

Prior to the trip, I managed to give the cockpit a few quick coats of white gloss which has certainly made the exterior look much better and will hopefully protect it over the winter months . . .

Pictured here alongside a good old Lightning (which I also had the pleasure of working on during her service life)
