Re: Fly i brann i Fort Lauderdale

Dynamic Airways was established by Dynamic Aviation in 2010, its first aircraft being a second-hand McDonnell Douglas MD-88 delivered a year before operations started in 2009. This was quickly followed by the acquisition of another MD-80 a year later, just before the airline officially started operations in early October, 2010 after receiving its Air Operator's Certificate.[1]

On November 2010, the airline started to operate for Direct Air. The company's first aircraft was re-painted in Direct Air livery and leased to Direct Air.[2]

As the airline approached its second year of operations, the first Boeing 767-200 was delivered to the airline, followed by the approval for the second MD-88 to take to the skies.[citation needed]

Not long after the purchase of the second McDonnell Douglas aircraft, Dynamic announced a three-year partnership flying for Hoda Air Services in South Korea. The deal, which included a McDonnell Douglas MD-88 supported by a full crew, was the airline's first in Asia. The airline continued to expand when its first 767 entered service and the second was delivered, which was according to the airline available for 'ACMI wet lease, full charter and corporate shuttle programs for private and government organisations'.[3]

In March 2012, Direct Air temporarily suspended its operations and cancelled all charter flights, Direct Air subsequently filing for bankruptcy. It ceased operations completely shortly after, having been found to have racked up millions in debts. The MD-88 was returned to Dynamic as a result. The third Boeing 767 was delivered to Dynamic on March 6.[4] This 767 entered operations in early 2013.[citation needed]

Dynamic operated a successful wet lease ACMI for an airline operation called EZjet. The wet lease operated regular flights from New York (JFK) to Georgetown Guyana (GEO) utilizing a B767-200 aircraft tail number N767DA. This operation ceased in 2012.

Dynamic International Airways currently operates between Seoul's Incheon Airport and Saipan, as well as from New York's John F. Kennedy Airport to Guyana.

The airline started scheduled flights between New York (JFK) to Georgetown Guyana (GEO) on June 2014.[5] In the future, the airline is slated to focus on operations within the Japan and China markets. Dynamic is starting its service to Simon Bolivar airport in Caracas, Venezuela from Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood International Airport on July 17, 2015.

Re: Fly i brann i Fort Lauderdale

Hvorfor evakuerer de på den siden foran, hvor det er brann ? Er det ikke sklie på 'kjøkkeninngangen' ?

Re: Fly i brann i Fort Lauderdale

Kanskje sklien feilet? De er kjent for å ikke være 100% feilfri dessverre.

Re: Fly i brann i Fort Lauderdale

Dette er andre episode på seks måneder. Hvorfor skjer dette med et lte selskap som Dynamic, kan man kanskje spørre seg .. Fant dette på veggen til en eks-kollega som jobbet for dem tidligere.

I left Dynamic as the #2 pilot in May and joined xxxxxxx. I have been informed that CNN is reporting a prior engine failure at Dynamic. This one was me. On March 14 at around 2:00AM, I departed JFK as Dynamic Airways flight 401. I was in command, in the right seat, conducting training of a newly hired Captain. We experienced what we call a “catastrophic contained” engine failure departing JFK at 2,000 feet. In a “contained” failure, the parts head out the front and back of the engine – as designed. Although the night was dark, the explosion was spectacular and passengers and crew were traumatized, we landed 21 minutes later overweight and on one engine, but otherwise uneventfully. The engine was of course destroyed, but there were no physical injuries and we didn’t make the news.

Igjen er det flere som kommer ned sklia med håndbagasje, og svært kritikkverdig å se at deler av crewet ha med seg vesker og bager ned sklia. Practice what you preach.

Årsaken er allerede klar.

http://airwaysnews.com/blog/2015/11...s-fire-caused-by-faulty-fuel-line-connection/

The update said that the Boeing 767-200 (Registration N251MY / MSN 23280 / LN 131) has its main fuel supply line disconnected “in the wing-to-engine strut above and behind the left engine.” While initial reports based on eyewitness accounts attributed the source of the fire to be the aircraft’s left Pratt & Whitney JT9D engine, investigators have not found ant evidence “of an engine uncontainment or other failure.”
