Boeing plans to fly its second 787 Dreamliner for the first time Tuesday morning at 8:45, weather permitting, the company said.

Det skal visst også være en mulighet for at Dreamliner 1 flyr tirsdag. ZA002 antas å ha callsign BOE002.

Boeing legger iallefall opp til å ha max trøkk på testingen av 787 i 2010:

Boeing plans to have six flight-test planes operating almost around the clock for the next nine months or more as it works to obtain Federal Aviation Adminstration certification towards the end of 2010.

Dreamliner Two off Paine Field. Shortly after takeoff there was a dragging brake indication, floor vibration, and a problem with the nose gear drag brace. Flight was extended about an hour trying to work the gear problem.

Boeing's 787 Dreamliner No. 2 landed safely at Boeing Field in Seattle at 11.10 a.m. this morning after a flight that lasted almost exactly two hours, but the test flight did not go entirely smoothly.

A ham radio operator who monitored the chatter between the plane and Boeing's flight operations center and the air traffic control tower said the T-33 chase plane reported over the Olympic Peninsula that the tilt of the nose landing gear of the airplane didn't look right.
