Why will the existing Family Pooling be closed down?
The existing set-up is not supported technically by the new loyalty system, SAS Customer Loyalty Management (CLM). A new, enhanced concept will be introduced during autumn 2016.
When will it be closed down?
It will be closed down on March 31. Activities registered on the member’s (the giver’s) account up to April 07 will be transferred to the receiving account. The transfer as such will take place on the night between April 7 and April 8.
Until which date will it be possible to open a new Family pooling relationship?
The last date to open a Family Pooling relationship is March 31-2016. NB! Only Activities registered on the “giving” account up to April 07 will be transferred to the receiving account.
Until which date will Family Pooling points be transferred?
Activities registered on the giving member’s account up to April 08 will be transferred automatically. Sykes and Sutherland will be given permission to register points retroactively until April 30. A special procedure will be distributed on March 31.
What will happen to the points that are already transferred?
Nothing – they will remain at the account they have been transferred to.
Will it be possible to transfer points back to the original member as the concept will end?
This will not be possible.
Will there be something similar in the future?
A new, enhanced concept will be introduced during autumn 2016
What will the new concept look like?
More information will come during the autumn.
When will the new concept start?
The new concept is planned to start during the autumn 2016.
Will it be possible to transfer points retroactively from March 31 into the new concept?
The concept is under development and we will have to revert.

We expect to be able to provide more information at the end of August / beginning of September.
Why isn’t the new concept ready when you close down the existing one?
Migrating to a new loyalty system is a major project. EuroBonus has today over 4.3 million members, some 120 partners, thousands of file transfers and millions of web service calls every day. After migration in May 2016 the work starts to develop new solutions for our members.
We had planned to transfer points for travel that will take place in May. What shall we do now?
