Fuel surcharge increase effective 13 June 2007
Dear Einar,
We will increase our fuel surcharge on long-haul sectors as of Wednesday June 13 2007, as result of further rises in the price of fuel.
The fuel surcharge will increase by GBP 5 per sector (GBP 10 return) from GBP 33 to GBP 38 for flights of less than nine hours and from GBP 38 to GBP 43 for flights of more than nine hours.
The short haul fuel surcharge will remain unchanged at GBP 8 per sector.
For bookings made on and after June 13 2007 the new fuel surcharge will apply.
For any bookings made before June 13 2007 the old fuel surcharge will apply. The old fuel surcharge should be manually inserted into the YQ surcharge.
Short-haul flights: Unchanged at GBP 8 per sector
Long-haul flights with a flight time of less than 9 hours duration: Increased to GBP 38 per sector
Long-haul flights with a flight time of more than 9 hours duration: Increased to GBP 43 per sector
