Virgin Atlantic Airways has said that it will launch a new TV advertisement that imitates soft-core pornography to create a humorous effect. The 10-minute advertisement, which represents a US$ 1mn investment, was created by Crispin Porter & Bogusky. It will only appear on the sex-oriented channels of the closed-circuit TV systems in hotel rooms. According to Virgin Atlantic, this will allow the company to target business travellers, who often stay at hotels equipped with LodgeNet pay-per-view channels.
