Thai Airways International executives have been told to raise revenue by 14% in order to lift profitability in the next fiscal year that starts on Oct 1.

In the new fiscal year the airline will introduce new routes, including flights to Johannesburg and Hyderabad, while also increasing frequencies on successful existing routes, such as Munich, Madrid, Beijing, Melbourne and Perth.
As well, it will increase the frequency of its high-profile Bangkok-New York direct service to five times a week from four and step up direct Bankok-Los Angeles flights to five a week from three.
