TP will change its image on the begining of this year to celebrate its 60th aniversary, due next 14th March. The visual renovation of the portuguese national carrier will happen, for now, by a new livery on its aircraft and the change on the uniforms of the cabin crew.
The spokesman for the company, Mr. António Monteiro, told the electronic edition of the portuguese newspaper Expresso, that a group inside the company is planning the changes, but that "it is still too soon to reveal any news". Even so, he stated that "the first aircraft wearing the new image will be an Airbus A310, to be rolled out on the day of TAP aniversary."
Due to economical and operational reasons, the remaining aircraft will be painted in the new colours as they go into maintenance. As for the uniforms, they will be ready to fly by the end of this year.
