DY SE-RRX/EI-FHU/LN-NGH - status

Re: LN-NGH - status

Hoppar man över NGD? Inte DYY & DYZ på tur heller?

Re: EI-FHU/LN-NGH - status

Da blir EI-FHU til SE-RRX
Siste som FHU er 28/11
Første som RRX er 30/11

The Norwegian Group is currently reregistering a lot of planes from the Irish and Norwegian Register to the Swedish.
Is there any particular reason for this?
For example, lower taxes or has this maybe something to do with the future strategy of the Group?

Most likely due to that they want to transfer NAX-ops in Sweden to NSW-AOC/IATA code LE, and therefor they transfer planes to the NSW-AOC.

The rumors says that Norway-ops will be transferred to NAN-AOC/IATA code DH in the future and that Norwegian will close down NAX-AOC.

Thank you for your answer :)

So, they want to separate more openly the two AOC's (NAN and NSW).
It is only a little bit strange, that it seems they will abandon their original NAX-AOC and activate the NAN-AOC.

If NAN to excist, strange that that AOC now only has 1 acft left, rest xferred to NAX and NSW........DY/NAX are holding the traffic rights by the way, not NAN

Thats the old plan - new plan: Hold the LGW slots in NAN as security for the extended bonds. All NAN and eventually all NAI acfts will be transferred to NSW to streamline the AOC structure.

There is practically no need for two similar EU AOCs holding the same route rights, and Ireland was chosen because there was a lack of compatible countries to establish an EU AOC back in 2014/15. With the Cape Town convention came in force in Sweden in 2016, it immediately became the ideal country to hold an EU AOC. Cape Town convention is crucial to avail the best finances for new aircrafts.

So, according to the new plan we would have in the future:

D8/IBK - Ireland: Close down
DH/NAN - Norway: Close down
DI/NRS - United Kingdom: Active (Long Haul from LGW)
DN/NAA - Argentina: Active
DY/NAX - Norway: Close down
DU/NLH - Norway: Already closed down in the past
LE/NSW: Sweden: Active (Domestic + Europe + Long Haul (everything except LGW))

Wrong !
DY/NAX - Remains Traffic Rights ! (e.g.Russia)
DH/NAN - Remains ufn
D8/IBK - Remains but smaller

SE-RRX har gjort sitt hos Norwegian, og ferges til TRD-DUB 9.Sept for utfas/ny operatør
