Ettersom threaden jeg startet er stengt, publiserer jeg rektivikasjonen på denne måten.

Rectification following an article earlier today with regard to KLM suspectingly grounding its A330 fleet. Confirmed sources around the airline have told Worldwide-Aviation.net that all Airbus A330 in service of KLM are still in operation. Replacement of the pitot tubes is an ongoing process and it is not expected that this would form a problem maintaining its current flight schedule.

Ha en fin kveld.

Som nevnt i en annen tråd:

Operatørene har nå fire måneder på seg til å skifte ut Thales-pitot'ene ..

Operators of Airbus A330s and A340s will have a four-month window to replace Thales Avionics pitot probes once Europe's safety regulator firms up the proposal for an airworthiness directive it published last week.

The European Aviation Safety Agency is inviting comment on its proposed mandated changes until 7 September. It has taken the action following several instances of aircraft suffering unreliable airspeed indications, and evidence of a similar situation before the loss of an Air France A330-200 over the South Atlantic on 1 June.

... og dermed kan man fortsette å diskutere der hvis man har lyst.
