Porter Airlines is launching daily service to the U.S. with its new Embraer E195-E2 aircraft, covering Florida with five destinations. Passengers will travel in a style unlike any carrier serving this market, with Porter’s elevated economy experience. Service includes Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ) to Fort Lauderdale (FLL), Fort Myers (RSW), Miami (MIA), Orlando (MCO), and Tampa (TPA); as well as Ottawa International Airport (YOW) to Fort Lauderdale (FLL), and Orlando (MCO). All routes begin with one daily, roundtrip flight.

Ser ut som de teamet opp med Transat for å feede hverandre. Foreløpig bare fra Toronto og Halifax inn til Transat nettverk fra Montreal. Men ikke umulig det blir mer etterhvert som Porter vil vokse på andre flyplasser når de får alle E2ene i bestilling

Nå øker de E195-E2 ordren med 25 maskiner til 75. Så kommer til å bli en ganske stor aktør i Kanada etterhvert. De har ytterligere 25 kjøpsrettigheter

Air Trasnat slutter visstnok med deres sesongruter til SFO og LAX fra Montreal, samtdig starter Porter disse. Så tydeligvis et tett samarbeid her.
