Ja, det ligger ihvertfall ann til det, selv om det foreløpig er kun et rykte...dog veldig sterkt, men foreløpig er ingenting annonsert, selv om det også for E24 og Marketwatch som de har hentet fra, er vanskelig å skille mellom rykter og bekreftete ordre

UA orders winglets for 767-300ERs

To continue to reduce fuel burn, United has ordered winglets for UA Boeing 767-300ER aircraft. Aviation Partners Boeing (APB) announced the order on Monday at the Paris Air Show.
“The installation of winglets on our aircraft improves the fuel efficiency of our fleet and also reduces our greenhouse gas emissions,” said Fuel Efficiency Managing Director Joel Booth. “Fuel is our largest, most volatile expense, and winglets help offset rising fuel costs.”
We plan to begin installing winglets on the UA B767-300ERs early next year. Winglets on the B767-300ERs can extend the range of the aircraft or increase the payload of the aircraft. We currently have winglets on B737-500s, -700s, -800s, -900s, -900ERs, and on our B757-200s and -300s. The Airbus aircraft we operate feature wingtip fences that also help increase fuel efficiency.

Annars verkar det vara A32XNEO som är storsäljaren under Paris Air Show. Airbus har väl fått +550 A32XNEO beställningar nu och många många fler blir det säkert under showen.

Video som viser skadene på vingen til A380en som skulle ha flydd på Paris Air Show. Nå skal visstnok en A380 fra Korean Air ha tatt over som display aircraft, men bare i starten av uka. 747-8I og 747-8F drar i morgen, så heller ikke de vil være der når showet er åpent for publikum.
