Major fire destroys Hangar 40 - Sabena Technics

Last night a heavy fire severely damaged Sabena Technics hangar 40 at Brussels Airport. The Brussels Airport fire department assisted by teams of Vilvoorde, Brussels and Leuven arrived shortly after the fire had started. One of the Sabena Technics employees was transported to Neder-Over-Heembeek with burns, one fire fighter got slightly wounded. 3 aircrafts have been severely damaged: 1 C-130 from the Belgian military (reg. CH-02), 1 Armavia aircraft (one of the other Armavia aircrafts crashed a few days ago) and another unknown at this time while 2 other aircrafts where pulled out of the hangar: 1 SN Brussels Airlines and 1 Virgin Express aircraft.
