Jin Air starter longhaul ops

Jin Air (LJ, Seoul Gimpo) took delivery of its first B777-200(ER), HL7743 (msn 32408), on Sunday, November 30. The twinjet, leased from parent Korean Air (KE, Seoul Incheon), will be joined by another two of the type later next year.

With the oversaturation of the local and regional market, the LCC will use the aircraft to expand its reach into the longhaul sector with daily Seoul Incheon to Guam Int'l flights to launch on December 12.

Flights to Honolulu in Hawaii are expected to launch near the middle of next year though this is subject to confirmation.

Asiana og Air Busan har jo leket med ideen en stund, samt at jeg regner med at det kommer noe fra Kina innen ''kort'' tid...
