Etter at Eastern Airways gikk konkurs, har flere ruter blitt stående uten operatør. Nå skal Air Charter Scotland overta Aberdeen-Wick, og vil i starten leie inn kapasitet fra AIS Airlines og deres BAe Jetstream 31.
Air Charter Scotland wins PSO for maiden scheduled route: Air Charter Scotland (EDC, Perth Scone) will launch its first-ever scheduled route after it was awarded the Public Service Obligation (PSO) contract for the Wick-Aberdeen Dyce connection.
The airline will begin the 6x weekly flights on January 12, 2025. It will initially wet-lease an 18-seat BAe Jetstream 32 from AIS Airlines (Netherlands) but plans to add this type eventually to its own fleet. The Dutch airline operates three aircraft of the type.
