Icelandair and Southwest Airlines have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to initiate a bilateral partnership in 2025. The partnership will allow customers to easily connect between the two airlines’ networks. Icelandair will become Southwest’s initial airline partner.

Icelandair and Southwest will initially partner through Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI). It will then add Denver International Airport (DEN) and Nashville International Airport (BNA) later in the year. European passengers will now have access to flights across the United States and a seamless travel experience is coming soon.
