Estonian Air innfører bagasjegebyr

Det vil si, de har ikke valgt Ryanair-modellen der man legger til et kolli til billettprisen, men et opplegg som likner Air New Zealand, der man kan velge et produkt (ECO) so, har bagasje inkludert eller et annet (LIGHT) som ikke inkluderer bagasje. Prisforskjellen er 10 Euro.

Systemet ser ikke ut til å fungere helt ennå - et søk på billetter mellom Oslo og Tallinn avslører at billetten med bagasje er billigere enn billetten uten bagasje. :drunk:

As from today Estonian Air offers flight tickets with more attractive prices by introducing new products ECO and LIGHT.

Considering the results of the poll “My Estonian Air” and our customer feedback, we now offer more attractive and affordable prices for early bookers.
Product ECO gives extra advantage for customers who purchase their tickets well in advance. Ticket prices start from 49 euros, all taxes included. All traditional services are also included: free baggage allowance (max 23 kg), hand luggage (8 kg) and complimentary on-board service.

Product LIGHT is meant for customers who are willing to give up some traditional conveniences and travel with hand luggage only, no checked baggage allowance. Price starts from 39 euros, complimentary on-board service is included.
Product LIGHT is valid for flights from 01.10.2011 and available on Estonian Air webpage.
