Iron Maiden arrived at Download Festival in style this afternoon, touching down at East Midlands Airport aboard their Boeing 747-400 jet Ed Force One.

The flight left Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris at 1.48pm, before making its way over the Channel and landing at East Midlands Airport, Castle Donington, at 2.37pm. The aircraft carried the band, along with more than 10,000kg of equipment which travels with them on their Book of Souls world tour.

Det ligger riktignok an til at 350 fotballsupportere får en tur i "Ed Force One" før den tid.

TF-AAK will make at least one more round trip flight in Ed Force One livery when it brings 350 Icelandic football fans to Marseille for the Iceland—Hungary match to be played on 18 June.
