CO has filed with the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) to serve a new destination in the South Pacific this summer – Nadi (NAN), Fiji.
Fiji is an island nation lying about two-thirds of the way from Hawaii to New Zealand. CO plans to operate 737-800 aircraft on Guam-Fiji-Honolulu round trips twice per week.
The routes to Fiji will be capable of drawing traffic from both North America (via HNL) and Japan (via GUM).
Inauguration of the new service would be subject to CO completing necessary business arrangements and obtaining government approval.
Official announcement of the new route and commencement of ticket sales would occur at a later date.
