It's likely to be 2008 before The Boeing Co. has a shot at overtaking Airbus again in production. That's the year Boeing starts delivering its 787 Dreamliner.

Boeing delivered 285 planes in 2004. Last year's total would have been higher, but it was cut by about 30 planes that were not built because of the four-week Machinists strike in September.
