Welcome FO, goodbye OK!

A great place for spotting is the roof of a nearby mall. There you can take pictures of a/c flying "through" the sun in March.

Snow covered ground, sun and blue sky in Berlin?! Unbelievable. Shots taken at Tegeler Wald (Western approach).

What about the TXL terrace ? Is it closed wintertime ? Weekdays and/or Saturdays/Sundays ? Is this info actually valid:

Geöffnet täglich 8:00-20:00 Uhr ( April bis Oktober ) bzw. Sonntag 10:00-16:00 Uhr ( November bis März ).

Yes, your information is valid. April - October 8am-8pm / November - March 10am-4pm. Admission: 2€.
All in all the terrace is open every day, but it will be closed due to snow fall, ice or for safety reasons. So in the abstract it´s open in wintertime as well, but in practice it´s often closed in wintertime :/.
