The outgoing Chief Executive Officer of Austrian Airlines (OS, Vienna), Jaan Albrecht, says the carrier is planning to phase out its fleet of B767s and B777s over the next five to eight years.

In an interview with Austrian Aviation Net, Albrecht said the airline's fleet of six B767-300 WIN.s would be replaced "around 2020" while its five B777-200(ER)s would only leave around 2023. He could offer no inkling as to which manufacturer or type would be selected as possible replacements.
