Bombardier signed a contract with Air New Zealand for 17 Q300 turboprops, which will be operated by wholly owned subsidiary Air Nelson. The contract also includes options on an additional 10 Q300s and 13 70-seat Q400s. The firm orders are valued at approximately $269.5 million and with the added options the deal could reach $716 million. Deliveries are scheduled to begin in 2005.
