Indonesian Government has dismissed the entire 13-member board of directors at Garuda Indonesia, in an effort to improve the airline’s profitability, according to a 17 March International Herald Tribune report. State Enterprises Minister, Sugiharto, stated "I'm reforming the management of Garuda. I would like to position Garuda into the national flag-carrier rather than being marginalised”.
