Following yesterday’s news that Blue Islands will cease operations with immediate effect, we will be offering new flights to support affected passengers. This includes the essential medical route to Southampton.
We understand this will be a worrying time for those hoping to travel to and from Jersey. We’ve moved quickly to begin operations starting this Sunday, 16 November. This will lead to establishing a new permanent operating base in Jersey. To assist affected Blue Islands customers in reaching their destinations with minimal disruption, special rescue fares are available to purchase via the Loganair website.
For up-to-date information, and details of the new flights available via Loganair, please visit:

We are also here to support affected Blue Islands Team Members in any way we can. You can reach out to the Loganair Recruitment Team via email -

This is another sad day for regional aviation, coming so soon after the news about Eastern Airways. For almost two decades, the Blue Islands brand has played a vital role in the UK’s regional aviation market, serving Channel Island communities year-round with essential air services.
Loganair, with its 63-year heritage of serving the UK regions, is now committed to delivering reliable and resilient air links to Jersey. As one of Europe’s largest independent regional airlines, operating almost 40 aircraft, we are proud to be stepping in to support the people of Jersey.
