Ryanair av banen på Prestwick

Og kaoset i juletrafikken fortsetter - FR fra DUB havnet "på jordet" i Prestwick - ingen skadet

An aircraft has gone off the end of a runway at Prestwick Airport in the west of Scotland.


Emergency services were called to the scene shortly before 0900 GMT.
The Ryanair aircraft from Dublin landed and then slid off the runway because of ice. An eyewitness said it had come to rest partially on the grass.

Scottish police state that a Ryanair Boeing 737-800 has overrun the runway at Glasgow Prestwick Airport.

Uttalelse fra Ryanair: "After a normal landing was completed and while taxiing from the runway the aircraft encountered ice and slid just off the runway on to the grass verge."

Ingen evakuering og normal utgang gjennom hoveddøra foran.
