Heston Airlines - Ny operatør i Litauen

Det Litauiske Heston som driver med uteleie av fly, MRO m.mere, i blant annet Australia, Irland, Kypros og Litauen. Selskapet starter nå opp Heston Aviation for å ta opp kampen mot f.eks SmartLynx og Avion Express.

Lithuanian lessor and MRO provider Heston Aviation has launched all-A320 operator Heston Airlines (Vilnius), which will focus on charter and ACMI markets starting in early 2021 targetting tour operators and airlines in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, it outlined in a statement on October 26.

Heston Airlines is currently working towards its Air Operator’s Certificate (AOC) and aims to start its European operations using three A320-200s, with plans to increase the size of its fleet to seven aircraft by 2022.

Genesis, the Dublin-based aircraft leasing company, announces the delivery of a second aircraft to Lithuanian headquartered Heston Airlines. The delivery follows Heston Airlines successfully obtaining their Air Operators Certificate (AOC) approval

Heston Airlines signs leases for three Airbus A330

Vilnius, 4 August 2021: Heston Airlines has signed lease agreements for three (3) Airbus A330-200 from Avolon. The leases come with competitive rates allowing company a flexible deployment for wet lease and charter markets around the globe. The company expects to take delivery of the first aircraft by mid-August 2021.
"We are pleased to expand our offering to widebody markets with the support of a lessor such as Avolon” says Jonas Rinkauskas, CEO of Heston Airlines.

Alle tre ex-Aeroflot A330-200 som ikke er alt for gamle.

Ser ut som de var på OSL i dag. LY-VUT flyr i dag Vilnius-Oslo-Amsterdam. Akkurat nå på vei som HN702 OSL-AMS

Ser ut til at de ikke har lykkes i å finne nytt arbeid for de tre A330'ene, alle er tilsynelatende returnert til utleier. Én har funnet nytt hjem hos Air Transat.

Da er de i ferd med å fase inn en ex-ITA og Alitalia maskin, men som vel først må strippes for blåfargen.
