French Industrial Action update 0815 UTC (Notams A5515/10 + A5743/10)
The French Civil Aviation authority (DGAC) advises that in order to allow a reasonable quantity of air traffic to take place, aircraft operators should avoid French airspace where possible and strictly adhere to the requested reductions of flight programmes at French airports.
Aircraft Operators are requested not to call for improvements for flights which are affected by the French regulations, FMD will monitor the situation closely and direct improvements will be sent via ETFMS.
The situation is not foreseeable, considering the uncertain staffing levels, and it might change at short notice. Anyway it seems that there is massive strike participation by French controllers.
