UK Government Proposals on Noise Restrictions will Raise Airfares and Reduce your Choice of Low Fare Flights
The UK Government is currently proposing to increase noise restrictions at Stansted Airport, which will reduce the hours during the day when Ryanair's brand new, noise efficient aircraft can land and take off. This will reduce the number of flights and routes we can offer, and will result in higher airfares for ordinary consumers. These added restrictions are totally unnecessary at a time when Ryanair and other low fare carriers are investing billions in quieter aircraft to reduce noise disruption.
