Dette virker jo direkte skremmende. Hva er det med BA...(crew som drikker litt i overkant, og så vedlikeholdsrutiner som ikke holder mål)?

Just for the record. Hun som laget dokumentaren som har blitt vist på TV jukset med tidene så forholdene var ikke så ille som de ble presentert. Piloten som ble filmet ble senere frikjent.

Dette var ikke noen 'dokumentar', men en ordentlig myndighetsrapport....

British Airways, Europe's third-largest airline, says it has taken steps to improve aircraft maintenance after a British government report criticized its procedures.

"We have accepted the criticisms and carried out our own investigations and changed procedures and practices to address what was identified," a spokesman, Paul Marston, said in an interview after the report was highlighted in The Sunday Times.

BA planes have suffered from failures in midair, including a door ripping off a Boeing 777 at nearly 2 kilometers, or 6,000 feet, because of "slipshod" work by BA's maintenance crew, the London-based newspaper said, citing the report by the Air Accident Investigation Branch.
