Støvsuging i Australia..
Australian regional airline Skytrans (QN, Cairns) is to be acquired by Avia Solutions Group. The share purchase agreement is expected to finalise in March 2024 and will provide the Ireland-based capacity provider with an Australian air operator's certificate (AOC).

Skytrans operates a fleet of five DHC-8-100s, one DHC-8-300, one DHC-8-Q300, and six Cessna (single turboprop) 208B Grand Caravans across a network of airports, primarily in Northern Queensland. The airline flies a mix of scheduled passenger operations, freight flights, ad hoc and contract charters. In recent years, Skytrans has also become a more visible presence doing fly-in-fly-out work for mining and resource companies with operations in Queensland.

Avion Express har nå nettopp går ut av rekonstruksjon,
det har iallfall går godt for dem under rekonstruksjonen og etter Covid-19.
Flåten er flerdoblet og både Avion Express (Litauen) og spesielt Avion Express Malaga gjør det svært godt.

Avion Express Malta har (per 02apr24) 21 A320 på wetlease til meksikanske Viva Aerobus, 12 A320 til Eurowings, 1 A320 til Wizz Air og 1 til KM Malta Airlines, og 2 A321 til SkyCana - samt 3 i egen ops/vedlikehold. Totalt 38 A320 og 2 A321.

Avion Express (Litauen) har (per 02apr24) 1 A320 på wetlease til FN, 2 A320 til Norwegian Air Sweden AOC, 1 A320 til Wizz Air, 1 A320 til Wizz Air Malta, 1 A320 til Air Corsica - samt 5 A320 i egen ops/vedlikehold. Totalt 11 A320.

Mangler fortsatt en del hvis de skal ha rundt 20 AOC innen slutten av Mars 2025. Hvis du trekker fra Magma Aviation som ikke har eget AOC (operert av Air Atlanta Icelandic), og legger til Thai SmartLynx har de (ink. Avion Express Brasil) 12 AOCer snart. Eventuelt 13 AOCer hvis man regner med Arcus Air.

Ut av Avion Express Malta sine nå 37 A320 flyr de nå 28 A320 for meksikanske Viva Aerobus som har ¨et par¨ Airbus Neo på bakken - 13 A321neo og 12 A320neo pga motorproblemene til P&W.

Smartlynx, det vil si den "originale" latviske varianten skal kun fly A32x maskiner fremover, så 737 MAX maskinene vil sendes til andre selskaper innen Avia Solutions konsernet.

SmartLynx Airlines (6Y, Riga) plans to transition to a single-type aircraft operation centred on the A320 aircraft by mid-2025 and will transfer its B737-8s to other Avia Solutions Group airlines. The ACMI specialist said this would "sustain our growth and align with our group's strategic goals."
