Austrian airline company AUA will start flying to the Indian capital of Mumbai from 1 May 2005. Five weekly flights will fly non-stop between Vienna and Mumbai. If the demand for the service is high, the Winter timetable 2005/2006 will accommodate for daily flights. The additional route is part of AUA's expansion strategy into Eastern Asia.
