airBaltic Teams up With Brussels Airlines to Offer Flights to Africa
Riga . Beginning on August 4, airline passengers in Latvia will have a wider choice of destinations in Africa and Europe, because a code-share agreement between airBaltic and Brussels Airlines will take effect on that day.

Bertolt Flick, president and CEO of airBaltic : “Our partnership with Brussels Airlines is particularly good for the clients of both airline companies, as our route networks essentially are complementary, as opposed to overlapping. airBaltic has an excellent range of products in terms of flights to CIS countries, Baltic countries, and regional centres in Scandinavia, while Brussels Airlines offers attractive destinations in Africa.”

After August 4, airBaltic passengers will be able to benefit from this co-operation, flying to more than 10 destinations in Africa and more than 30 destinations in Europe via Brussels and at special prices. The cities to which airBaltic ’s partner airline flies include Abidjan (Ivory Coast), Banjul (Gambia), Conakry (Guinea), Dakar (Senegal), Douala (Cameroon), Entebbe (Uganda), Kinshasa (Democratic Congo Republic), Freetown (Sierra Leone), Kigali (Rwanda), Luanda (Angola), Nairobi (Kenya), Yaoundé (Cameroon), Monrovia (Liberia), and Casablanca (Morocco).

airBaltic currently offers seven flights a week between Rīga and Brussels on Boeing 737 aircraft. The frequency will increase to 10 flights per week from September, with a morning and an evening flight on weekdays.
