airBaltic åpner (enda en gang) ruter fra Tallinn og Vilnius til Europa

airBaltic skal nok en gang prøve seg på direkteruter fra Tallinn og Vilnius ut i Europa. Dette har vel selskapet prøvd flere ganger tidligere uten å lykkes.

Air Lituanica begynner for øvrig med daglige avganger Vilnius-Amsterdam fra 31. august, mens Estonian Air har en sommerrute Tallinn-Paris.

airBaltic from 28OCT14 is introducing Tallinn – Paris CDG operation, on board Boeing 737 aircraft. This route will be served 4 times a week.

From 30OCT14, it will also launch 4 weekly rotation on Vilnius – Amsterdam route, with Boeing 737-500.

airBaltic to Improve Service in Tallinn and Vilnius

For the winter season, Latvian airline airBaltic will launch two new direct routes to link Tallinn, the capital of Estonia, with Paris and Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania, with Amsterdam.

Christophe Viatte, Chief Commercial Officer of airBaltic, “We are reinforcing links between the Baltic capitals and European hubs in line with our restructuring plan, and our customers will benefit immediately. Travellers from Tallinn and Vilnius will enjoy excellent connections through Paris and Amsterdam that we can offer together with our code share partners Air France and KLM.”


Starting October 28, 2014, airBaltic will fly from Tallinn to Paris four times a week and will use Boeing 737 aircraft. The fares on the route will start at EUR 69, including airport fees and transaction costs. A full schedule of airBaltic flights can be found on the company’s homepage at www.airBaltic.com.

Noen som vet hvordan de gjør det i TLL og VNO nå? Ser kanskje ut som det funker bedre denne gangen siden de fortsatt holder ut?

Ser de nå utvider litt og starter TLL-LGW neste år, og er vel da oppe i 7 destinasjoner fra TLL: RIX, LGW, AMS, TXL, CDG, VNO og VIE

Med formannskapet i EU i 2017 har det vært mye lukrativ trafikk på TLL. Det spørs om det holder seg.

I tillegg til 4x ukentlig TLL-CPH fra starten av juni 2019, starter AirBaltic samtidig opp fra Tallinn til Malaga (2x ukentlig) og Brussel (3x ukentlig)

Nice blir ny destinasjon fra TLL neste sommer med 2x ukentlig

I tillegg til Nice som er nevnt, åpnes også Roma, Zürich og Hamburg fra Tallinn med henholdsvis 2x, 3x og 4x ukentlige neste sommer

Og fra Vilnius kommer Gøteborg (2x weekly), Hamburg (3x), Zürich (2x), Dubrovnik (2x) og Rijeka (1x)

TLL-MUC med 3x ukentlig fra mai av, blir en nye rute for dem fra TLL

RIX-SVG er også tilbake neste år.
Hvor mange ganger har de stoppet og startet den ruten?
