AirAsia legger ned deres selskap i Japan: AirAsia Japan.

Dette er også andre gang de legger ned i Japan. Dessuten med bare 3 fly der, så var det ikke deres viktigste marked

AirAsiaX har nå foreslått en gjeldssanering overfor sine kreditorer. Kassa er såpass tom er forslaget går ut på at de kun betaler 0,5% av det de skylder

I tillegg så avbestiller 78 A330-900 og 30 A321LR fra Airbus. Samt eksistrerende leasingavtaler må bli vesentlig billigere

Ser ut som de endte med å kun avbestille 15 A330-900 og 20 A321XLR.

Men gjelden slettes i praksis, ved at de kun skal betale tilbake 0,5% av det de skylder kreditorene

Dette er jo egentlig helt sensasjonelt og sier litt om finansmarkedet idag. Det vil nok bli noen etterdønninger i årene fremover.
