Sir Richard rir igjen....

Virgin planlegger et nytt internasjonalt flyselskap med base i Australia. Selskapet (som trolig blir uavhengig av Virgin Blue) skal fly til Japan, Kina og USA og planlegges startet med "betydelig" kapital (la oss tippe at Patrick Corp. IKKE blir invitert til å delta). Med dette begynner Sir Richard å dukke opp over alt: Internasjonal fra UK, low-cost i Australia, low-cost i Europa (VEX, så lenge det varer), Nigeria, USA, India... What's next?? Korea? (tre nye flyselskaper har dukket opp den siste måneden)

Sir Richard Branson sa følgende til Sydney Morning Herald, 4 April: "Whether we look at it with our Virgin Blue hat on or a separate hat on is still to be decided. My guess is that it will be likely to be separate from Virgin Blue. I think there's no shortage of people who would like to come in. [The new airline] would obviously need the Government to go batting for it and obviously that company would be treated equally in the Government's eyes as Qantas"
