How the pilots didn’t realize that they struck something on takeoff, causing serious damage; did the pilots only realize there was damage when they landed, or did someone in the cabin notice it, alert the flight attendants, and they alerted the pilots?
How the pilots thought that the plane banked 45 degrees uncontrollably during takeoff, and didn’t think that was serious enough to warrant an immediate return to the airport
Most importantly, what happened to cause the plane to bank uncontrollably after takeoff

Software-bug? Kanskje best å grounde Airbusen til man kommer til bunns i software jungelen... Blir snart vanskelig å komme seg rundt med alle groundede datamaskiner.

Denne maskinen (N114NN) endte faktisk med å bli en write-off. Airbus sa de kunne fikse flyet, men nektet å gi noen garantier på reperasjonen, da det var såpass alvorlige skader. Slik jeg forstår det endte det da med at AA byttet til seg det skadete flyet som var leasing, mot et av sine egeneide, og har nå for lengst begynt å plukke av deler. Motorer, APU, underholdningsskjermer etc, skal alt være hentet ut

The captain’s excessive left rudder pedal input during the takeoff ground roll, which caused a large heading deviation and a left roll upon rotation that resulted in the left wingtip striking the ground.
