Med ANA sin siste ordre har 787 programmet passert 1500 ordre, og -10 varianten er nå over 200

Og produksjonen skrus ytterligere ned, også på lang sikt. 7 fly per måned er planen i 2022, halvparten av det som ble produsert i fjor

Spotterbilder og oversiktsbilder fra 787 produksjonen i CHS, er jo langt mindre vanlig å se enn fra PAE. Men her en en fersk oversikt over flightline der som viser 3 787-9 hver til Air Europa og China Southern, 1 787-9 til China Eastern, og 1 787-10 hver til Singapore Airlines og British Airways

Boeing har nettopp annonsert de planlegger nedjustere 787 produksjon til 6 per måned i 2021

De vurderer også samle 787 produksjonen til en lokasjon

Hvis Boeing samler 787 produksjonen til en lokasjon så forventer de fleste at de legger ned produksjonslinjen på Everett, og samler alt i Charleston

Har ikke den produksjonslinja et «dårlig» rykte. Er det ikke der endel av de kritikkverdige forholdene dukket opp?

Det har vært trøbbel med det overalt. USAF har en del klager på sine 767`er og ... for å nevne en.

Det har vært snakk om å legge ned Renton. Eiendomsverdien i det området er svært høy. Flytte 737-linja til Everett kanskje?

Mer dårlig monteringsarbeid med 787, da Boeing har måttet gi beskjed om at 8 relativt nylig leverte 787 maskiner, som flyr for United, Air Canada og Singapore Airlines, må settes på bakken. Årsaken er at en produksjonsfeil i monteringen av bakparten, gjør at de kanskje ikke dårlig maksimumsbelastningen de er sertifisert for

Boeing jobber nå med å få 787-8 til å bli enda "likere" -9 og -10, og dermed billigere å produsere. Slik at de håper både øke salget og tjene mer penger på modellen
