View Full Version : Scanair Schedules 1970s to 1990's
Dear All,
Does anyone have details of the operating timetable (including flight numbers) used by Scanair from Scandinavia to the Canaries between 1970'S through to 1990's.
Any info, however small would be appreciated.
Brgds Paul
No official schedules were published but much of Scanair's traffic to LPA/ACE/TFS took place on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Flight numbers were mostly in the DK200-range, with one of the rotations GOT-LPA-GOT for example being DK255/256.
You might be able to find out more (if you can read Swedish) on my Scanair site at http://scanair.sonnenflieger.se, and any schedules if I find them will be published in my forthcoming Scanair book which is under production.

HansJ, if I recall correctly, when Scanair became Premiair after the merger with Conair in 1993, Premiair continued to operate with the same DK numbered flights for some years, didnīt they?
If so, I have noted the numbers used from Oslo/Gardermoen from 1994 and onwards.

Correct, and Thomas Cook Scandinavia still uses the DK prefix. I don't know when Premiair changed the numbers though.
On a sidenote, the navigation data bases in the FMGC for Thomas Cook Scandinavia's aircraft is still using the KC prefix from the Conair days!
Thank you fr your reply. I used to see many DK DC-8's and occasional B747 routing over southern U.K in the 80's and 1990's and I have spent forever trying to track down where the a/c was coming from/going to.
Still my favourite airline of all time and I visited ARN in 77 and 78 as well as many Stansted trips to see the DK fleet
