From April three flights a week from Frankfurt, as well as a daily service to Lagos

As of next summer, Lufthansa passengers will have an even better choice of connections to West Africa. From 7 April 2005, subject to the granting of traffic rights, Lufthansa will offer three flights a week from Frankfurt to Port Harcourt in Nigeria. On Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, an Airbus A330-300 with 221 seats will take off for Port Harcourt, and from there continue to the Nigerian capital, Abuja. Lufthansa launched flights to Abuja in October 2002, and currently serves the city also three times a week.
