Air France med diversion til Iran

En A340 fra Air France/Joon måtte ned Isfahan i Iran på vei fra Mumbai. Så gjenstår det å se hvor lang tid de bruker på å få den ut. Dog var det ikke motoren, men ventilasjonssystemet som var problemer her

On 8 May, Air France flight AF218 (A340-300 registered F-GZLP, operated by sister company JOON) between Paris CDG and Mumbai, India diverted to Isfahan, Iran following a malfunction of the ventilation system

Neppe noe problem å få den ferget ut tom på dispensasjon.

Gikk videre til DWC etter noen timer. Blir muligens stuck der en stund pga crew rest.

Ble kansellert, og kundene ble booket om med andre selskaper fra DXB ... for det meste.

But after refiling the flight plan to continue flying to Mumbai, the crew was timing out on their flight times, so the aircraft was diverted to Dubai World Central instead. From there, passengers were shuttled to Dubai International Airport to be rebooked on other flights. However, that does not seem to be the case so far.

@AirFranceFR @AirFranceIN #AF218 My family in Dubai is now being told their seats are NOT confirmed on the flight to Mumbai , this is after they spent 4 hours in Iran , 8 Hours in DWC and took a transfer shuttle to DXB. They are on the road now for about 40 hours ��
